- Remember: Federal law limits the number of electronic transfers made from any share account to six per month per share. So how does this affect you? If you use PAT, CU Connect, pre-authorized debits, overdraft protection or call in to have a credit union employee do a transaction you are affected. However, this does not affect your checking account! You can have as many pre-authorized debits, PAT or CU Connect transactions you would like from your Checking Account. Nor is there a limit on transactions done at any of our teller windows.

The browsers need to be configured to Always Accept Cookies for the SSL security feature to work. There are different ways to determine if Cookies are turned on, depending on which browser version you are using. When you click on the End Session link to log off from CU Connect all cookies are automatically deleted. If the session is ended in any other way the cookies will expire so the information will become useless.
Security Features
Passwords used to access CU Connect are case sensitive and require at least six and up to twenty characters. Passwords can be any combination of alpha and numeric characters. Passwords are not displayed when entered and once logged on you can change your password.
CU Connect is a secure environment for financial transactions. Concerns about security are generally related to whether the financial data begin transported to and from PCs over the Internet is safe from "spying" hackers.
The credit union's CU Connect software uses Secured Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This prevents computers along the route from eavesdropping on data between our site and you. Always verify that you are connected through a secured server by looking for the gold key on Netscape Communicator or the lock on Microsoft Explorer. You can also look at the URL (Web address). A secure site will have https:// versus and unsecured environment that has http://
The largest security threat comes from human error. Passwords and account numbers should not be kept near your PC. Passwords that are based on personal information (like your phone number, address, cats name, etc.) are more likely to result in a security threat. It is best to use a combination of alpha and numeric characters.
