CU Trips for 2008

Day Trips

Shedd Aquarium & Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago
Wednesday, July 9

Get ready for a day of exploring two of Chicago's finest attractions. Our first stop will be Shedd Aquarium. Admission includes all aquarium exhibits including Wild Reef, Oceanarium, Caribbean Reef and many others. We will spend several hours at the aquarium before heading to the Museum of Science and Industry in the afternoon. At the Museum of Science and Industry we have several hours to view exhibits such as Earth Revealed, U-505 Submarine, The Great Train Story, Pioneer Zephyr and many others. Lunch (on your own) will be in the food court at the aquarium or the museum. We will have a light breakfast snack of muffins, coffee, juice and water as we travel via chartered motor coach to Chicago. On our way home we will stop for a quick dinner (on your own). Departure is at 6:30 AM and arrival back to Marion will be approximately 10:00 PM. The cost of this trip is $75 for adults and $73 for children (5-11). Included is general admission to the aquarium and museum and transportation. The admission does not include the 4-D theatre at the aquarium, Omnimax or U-505 tour at the museum. Payment in full is due at the time of registration. No refunds will be given.

Europe's Christmas Markets
December 5 - 13

Visit these charming European cities dressed in their Christmas best. Shop for authentic cuckoo clocks, Hummel's and Black Forest woodcarvings to keep as souvenirs or give as Christmas gifts, while traveling through the spectacular snow-capped Alps and scenic Black Forest valleys.
